Every household, sooner or later, needs a tradesman who can turn their hand to most things. The kitchen tap that’s started dripping. The fence panel the wind dropped onto the lawn. The cupboard door that won’t close. The bathroom seal that’s gone black. The flat-pack wardrobe with three pages of Swedish instructions. Hiring a specialist for each of these is expensive and slow. Hiring nobody and hoping the problem disappears tends to make it worse and more expensive in the end. The middle path — an honest, capable handyman who can quietly work through a list of small jobs in a morning — is what I aim to provide.

Wherever you are in Suffolk, I can come and quote — from Lowestoft and Beccles in the far north, down through Ipswich and the central towns, west to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Haverhill, and out along the coast through Felixstowe, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Some jobs are easier for one person than others. Anything that needs scaffolding I’ll arrange properly — safety matters, and proper access is faster than working off ladders past the first floor. Anything that needs gas or notifiable electrical certificates I’ll bring in a registered tradesperson and co-ordinate the timing so you only deal with one person. Anything that needs structural calculations or party wall agreement I’ll point you at the right specialist before quoting. Where I can do the work safely and to the standard the building deserves, I will. Where I can’t, I’ll say so up front rather than try to bluff through.
